[Phoenix Wrong -Absolutely]

Not bad at all.

A pretty good 'Pheonix Wrong' flash. The image quality seemed to be fine and the sound selection was also pretty decent (although not knee-slapping hilarious).

The only problem I have with this (and it's just nit-picking here) is the speed of some of the sprites (mainly the gavel). Other than that, it's a pretty good flash.

Nice try for a first Flash Movie...

First and foremost, the voice acting needs to be a hell of a lot better. I know you were trying to go for the 'deep, voice-over guy' effect, but in this case it was poorly done and could barely be understood.

Your drawing style is pretty good. My only problem is that you didn't use it effectively. What's the point of having decent drawings if you're not going to bring them to life? A little walking animation, a simple arm movement, anything would have been better than whole static images being moved across the screen with motion tweens.

For a first Flash Movie, it's ok. It definitely could use a lot of improvements.

Oh how I missed Dad and his wacky antics.

There really isn't much that I can say that hasn't already been said. Animation style is good and at least consistent with Dad's Home, and the music choice was just excellent.

I can't wait to see the next installment. Good work!

Suprisingly Good.

First of all, excellent work on the walking animation (and the entire animation in general). It kind of caught me off guard. I'm quite impressed.

The character styles in comparison to some backgrounds are a little off, and to me it doesn't seem to combine and flow really well together (as insane as that sounds). Using similar lines as the characters, the background could be enhanced quite a bit. It also helps to have a little bit more in the background than straight blue and green.

A pre-loader/replay button would help as well. Had you not used fade in/out effects and kept it as a constant loop, it would be a hell of a lot better, and thus not having a pre-loader/replay button would be less noticable.

Hilarious Parody

It's been a while since I've seen any Monkey Island submissions on this site, and I have to say that yours is one of the best. I've never laughed that hard in a while.

As Jezereth said, your accent actually helped make the animation a lot funnier. You could say that you sounded a bit like Group X... with a German accent. The animation style is pretty good as well. It reminds me of styles similar to that of Egoraptor (of "Metal Gear Awesome" fame).

However, there were times where it did feel a bit out of sync. Whether it was intentional or not, I'll never know (it's not really that noticeable and in fact helps out with the overall style of the animation). That's something that you could look into.

Other than that, excellent work! Want to know how much I liked this animation? I signed up to Newgrounds just to vote it up and write this review.
